桑崧杰自幼受父母熏陶，在父母泥凳边长大，后考入南京师范大学美术专业，系统学习专业艺术理论，毕业后跟随父亲潜心钻研紫砂壶的创作与设计，在父母的严格训练下，花素兼备，为紫砂创作打下了全面扎实的技艺功底。
