1.Where is ClayteapotChina store located? 
We are a local company in Yixing China making purple sand teapots. The own brand "YuHoo Breeze Teapot". The clay materials are all made of local mountain, rock and earth ore in Yixing, and are hand-crafted by traditional purple clay artists. It can be customized in batches, engraved or added with LOGO. 

2.Where the store sell to ?
We are selling to all of the countries across the world. Anyway, determine to the logistic condition possibility to different regions.

3.Are your products authentic?
Yes — all items sold on ClayteapotChina are 100% authentic and sourced from verified Yixing Zisha craftsman. We do not sell replicas or counterfeit goods.

4.How long does delivery take?
Express Shipping: 3–7 business days
Standard Shipping: 7–20 business days
Delivery time may vary depending on your location and customs processing.

5.What about items broken during transportation?
Broken items can be replaced within 7 days upon photo proof or refund.
All the items are packed with double safe package to avoid broken.

6.Are your teapots made from original purple sand?
All our teapots are made from authentic Yixing Huanglongshan mineral clay (purple clay, red clay, green clay, etc.), with no chemical additives. Each piece comes with a material certification for authenticity and safety.

7.What is difference between fully handmade and half handmade?
Fully handmade teapots are crafted entirely by hand, while semi-handmade ones use molds for shaping.  Both are functionally excellent—choose based on your budget and collection goals.

8.About the maintenance of purple clay teapots?
Rinse with warm water, soak in boiling water 2-3 times, then steep with tea leaves (e.g., pu-erh) for 1 hour to remove kiln odors.
Clean tea residue with baking soda and warm water; never use chemicals.

9.How to choose teapot depend on the tea type?
To preserve pure flavors, we recommend "one teapot for one tea type." 
Red clay suits oolong, purple clay for pu-erh, and green clay for green tea.

10.How to identify authentic Zisha?
Authentic Zisha has a matte texture, absorbs water slowly, and develops a natural patina over time—avoid overly glossy surfaces.
 
11.About price and customization
Prices vary based on clay rarity and craftsmanship. 
Custom engravings (names/poems) require 3-5 extra working days.

12.What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and SHOPPay. All payments are processed securely, and prices include VAT where applicable.

13.Can I return my order?
Yes, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all tags and packaging. 

14. Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Yes. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not provide prepaid return labels.

15.When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within a few business days.

16. Will I be charged customs duties?
These fees are the responsibility of the customer in case custom duties charged.
