About the author: Born in 1969 in Hope Village, Yixing's Zisha Village, the pottery capital of China, he is one of the outstanding figures among contemporary ceramic artists. In 1989, he and his wife Wu Tingfang founded the "Yiyuanxuan" studio, studying under Ling Xigou (Jiangsu Province Arts and Crafts Master and research-level senior arts and crafts artist). Over the years, while carrying on the traditional heritage, he has devoted himself to diligent study and, through his profound understanding of Chinese culture, gradually developed his own distinctive style. His works reveal innovation within tradition, purity and refinement within elegance, and delicacy within depth. They have won awards repeatedly in various national competitions and have been published in relevant zisha industry magazines. His works have repeatedly been collected by museums and zisha collectors at home and abroad.
